FAQ: How Do Sales Taxes Work With Buddify?

There are two transactions that take place:
1) The first transaction is between the customer and the retailer - the retailer collects taxes from the customer and pays their state government.
2) The second transaction is between the retailer and the supplier - the supplier does not have to collect taxes if they have a valid resale certificate from the retailer. This is not provided by Buddify and would need to be collected directly from your retail partner.
